R.WEISS at the exhibition FachPack 2015, Nuernberg (Germany)
Intelligent robotic solutions
R.WEISS Verpackungstechnik presents their latest developments of modular UNIROB-Toploading-Pickerlines at the exhibition FachPack 2015. These exhibits belong to a customer from a pharma- and cosmetic industry, but the UNIROB-technology can be applied universally in every sector. One special feature is the integrated R.WEISS Transportmodule, the Intelligent Shuttle System (ISS) for a highly flexible and easily free programmable transport of products and packing. Interested visitors can experience at the exhibition the flexibility of the ISS. We show how cartons can be placed directly into the shuttles and transported within the UNIROB-machine or either as bulk to several stations toploading, coding, labelling and closing.
The heart of the system of this UNIROB-Toploading machine is the R.WEISS transport module Intelligent Shuttle System (ISS). Using multipick tooling with Delta-robots produces 300 products per minute. The control of the Delta robots and the machine consists of a R.WEISS developed, operator friendly control concept, based on standard off the shelf components. For the operators an intuitive and clear menu structure is available, the maintenance personnel can check the status virtually via service modules of any electronic component. For remote maintenance, R.WEISS modules can easily be performed with online service. All of this combined provides high plant availability and production safety.
For years R.WEISS has used the UNIROB-cells for the advantage of having an overhead position for the robots. This gives our customers many advantages: easy accessibility of the robot cells large doors, optimal access to the system modules, a good insight into the production processes, high flexibility through any delivery of product and packing material from all sides and more.
