A warm welcome to our website! We are highly concerned with the protection of your data, as well as your privacy. In Accordance with Art. 21, Para. 1 and 2 of the GDPR [DSGVO]
you have the right to object to the processing of personal data at any time. We do not process your personal data after an objection unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for such processing, which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (see Art. 21, Para. 1 of the GDPR [DSGVO]; the so-called "limited right of objection"). In such a case, you must explain the reasons for the objection with regard to your particular situation.
In the following text, we will inform you of your right to objection in the individual sections, indicating that "you have the right to object", insofar as this right exists. Here, you will also find further information with regard to exercising your right to object.

Data Security
We secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, alteration or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons, by ensuring that technical and organisational procedures are in place. However, despite regular controls, full protection against all hazards is simply not possible.
SSL - and/or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as a site operator. An encrypted connection is indicated in the address bar of the browser; it changes from “http://” to “https://” and a lock symbol is visible in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Processing Purpose and Recipients - Contract Management
The company R.WEISS, or the service providers commissioned by us process your personal data for the fulfilment and/or initiation of a contract with you and/or your employer. This records the complete processing of requests, orders, project processing, invoicing, authorisation, complaint processing, visitor report and all communications with you.
In order to fulfil the execution of the contract and/or the initiate the contract with you or your employer, we will transfer your personal data to third parties (e.g. affiliated companies within Germany, the European Union or third countries, e.g. USA or China). The legal basis for the processing and accessibility of your personal data is the execution of contract initiation and fulfilment of the contract.
Advertising and Tailor-Made Proposals Based on the Customer's Data Analysis
R.WEISS also uses your personal information to send you product information, Christmas and/or New Year's greetings, as well as information about trade fairs and exhibitions. The legal basis is a legitimate interest. R.WEISS's legitimate interest is to be able to offer you and/or your employer tailor-made products and services, to improve services and products, and to keep the master data up to date.
Other Recipients and Purposes
R.WEISS also out-sources the above-mentioned processes and services, as necessary, via carefully selected and commissioned (IT) service providers, which may have their headquarters registered outside the EU/EEA (third country). In these cases, a third-country data transfer is established. Data protection agreements corresponding to the legal requirements for the establishment of an adequate level of data protection are contractually defined. Other companies commissioned by R.WEISS may, in particular, be institutions such as tax offices, insurance companies or affiliated companies. These institutions process personal data on our behalf. Insofar as the service providers are not employed by us within the context of order processing, e.g. as design offices, suppliers, or affiliates, the legal basis for the transfer of data is the optimised and efficient performance of the contract with you or your employer, for the purposes of third-party services. The legal basis for the transfer of data to third parties is, therefore, deemed to be a balance of interests. In this case, our legitimate interest consists of the evaluation of our product performance, as well as determining the satisfaction of our customers, including the evaluation of their interests.
Duration of Storage and Deletion of Your Data
We will delete your personal data from the customer data records if you wish to do so, or if we find that the data record can no longer be assigned during a review process. All other documents will be archived and secured, with the minimum standard in accordance with the legal bases, or the obligation to retain them, as stipulated in the contracts. The legal basis for such processing is a balance of interests.
The Rights of Data Subjects (Art. 15 et seq. of the GDPR [DSGVO]
You have the right to information pertaining to your personal data stored by us, free of charge (Art.15 GDPR [DSGVO]) In the case of your data being incorrect, you have the right to rectification (Art. 1 of the GDPR [DSGVO]. If the legal requirements are met, you are entitled to the deletion of data and the restriction of processing (Art. 17 et seq. of the GDPR [DSGVO] In principle, the deletion takes place after the expiry of the retention periods stipulated by tax and commercial law.

Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our Website. Google Maps is a service of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The integration of the Google Maps plug-in takes place by embedding the Service on our Website by means of a so-called "iFrames". When loading the iFrames, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). We cannot preclude that Google will also transmit the information to a server in a third-party country.
As per the Privacy-Shield-Certification from Google (under https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the keyword "Google"), Google has committed to complying with the US Department of Commerce EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework with regard to the collection, use, and retention of personal data from the member States of the EU or Switzerland. Google, including Google LLC and its wholly-owned subsidiaries in the United States, declared via a certification process that it complies with the Privacy-Shield-Principles. For more information, see https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/frameworks/.
We ourselves cannot influence exactly which data Google actually collects and processes. Google, however, states that, among other things, the following information (including personal data) can be processed:
- Protocol data (in particular the IP address)
- Location-related Information
- Unique application numbers
- Cookies and similar technologies
Detailed information can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html under the section "data we receive from your use of our services".
If you are logged in to your Google account, Google may add the information you have processed to your account, depending on your account settings, and treat it as personal data, see in particular https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/partners/.
Google will execute the following actions:
"We may combine information from one service, including personal information, with information from other Google services. We make it easier for you to share content with friends and acquaintances, for example. Depending on your account settings, your activities on other websites and apps may be linked to your personal information to improve Google's services and Google's targeted advertising." (https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html)
You can prevent this information being directly added by logging out of your Google account, or by adjusting your account settings in your Google account appropriately. Furthermore, you can prevent the installation of cookies - insofar as Google has set them - through appropriate settings in your browser; we point out, however, that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full.
By integrating Google Maps, our goal is to be able to present your relevant addresses as well as to provide further information. We can also present locations with this integration of Google Maps in such a way that they are not limited to individual map sections, enabling you to independently calculate distances, among other things.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6, Para. 1 sub-para. f) of the GDPR [DSGVO]. Our legitimate interest is substantiated by the great benefit that Google Maps can offer. Through this integration, travelling to the various locations on the basis of unclear directions etc. is no longer necessary, as it allows users to plan their trips independently. Google can also claim a legitimate interest in the collected (personal) data, as a means to improve its own services.
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy, available here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Using Google Web Fonts
We use external fonts, so-called "Google Fonts" on our website. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The integration of web fonts takes place via an interface ("API") associated with Google services. By integrating web fonts, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). We cannot preclude that Google will also transmit the information to a server in a third-party country.
As per the Privacy-Shield-Certification from Google (at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the keyword "Google"), Google has committed to complying with the US Department of Commerce EU-U.S.
(https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html)
By integrating Google Fonts, our goal is to display uniform font types on your device.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6, Para. 1 sub-para. f) of the GDPR [DSGVO]. Our legitimate interest for this is verified by the great benefit that a uniform representation of the font types offers. Due to the uniform display functionality, the design is seamless, which is less laborious than if we had to respond to different font standards for various operating systems or browsers with specifically created and adapted websites. Google can also claim a legitimate interest in the collected (personal) data, as a means to improve its own services.
